A is for Apple

Well, today we learned that teachers, like mommies, don't get the day off just because they wake up with a migraine.  I tried the homeschool sub hotline but no one answered!  We had a good day and the first day of dance class to boot!

Doing the alphabet puzzle over breakfast - we moved to the floor  so everyone could see
Handwriting - Zoe worked on Smithey and Lucy stamped lots of A's
Science experiment - in tutus of course!  We had a brief break for dance class, haircuts, lunch, and going to Target for an apple because Daddy ate our experiment materials!
We learned putting lemon juice on apples keeps them white and putting water on them makes them kind of white, and putting nothing on them makes them yucky.

    This looks like so much fun! The girls are the luckiest school girls in the Dallas metroplex to have the best teacher ever--and they get to wear their tutus! They will never forget this year--it will be one of their very favorite times.
    I am so proud of you! Sorry about the migraine....not fair.
    And thanks for the blog! Next best thing to being there.
