We have had a nice long vacation! We spent a week at home with my family and a week in Nashville with David's family. Today, our Spanish school was off for teacher inservice so we did the same. We took down the last 10% of Christmas decorations that seem to hide until January, organized the school room, cleaned out some closets, played with new toys, and had a playdate with good old friends!
Before we start back up in the morning, I thought I would share some of the fun things the Smithey Science Academy got for Christmas! We are looking forward to using them soon. Can I say how much I love the fact that my kids love getting a science kit (with a rainbow and crystals on the box, to be fair) as much as a princess toy? Love it. It's the first thing Zoe wants to do in homeschool.
