I can't believe it's butter!

Today we focused on sorting, counting, classifying, and graphing.

Zoe wrote in her journal: "beautiful princess"

Zoe is graphing using her new Fancy Nancy pen (thanks, Jaycie!)

As part of farm week and for our science today, we made butter!  We poured heavy cream and a little salt into a baby food jar, added a marble, and shook!  We talked about how the cream changed and what properties about it were the same and different.

Then, we ate some delicious buttered crackers!

We sorted our animals into farm and "other" animals - the lion soon made his way out of the farm into the other group after some debate.

Zoe practiced reading her "A Day on the Farm" book.  She has been working on it every day and plans to read it to the "little ones" while we are at the farm.  This has been really motivating to her.
